The Abomosu Story: Roots of a Mission
Growing up in Abomosu in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Stephen Abu Jr. witnessed firsthand how talent is evenly distributed across the world, but opportunity is not. There were three middle schools in his town, and although he was not the top student in his class, he was the only one with the support to attend high school.
That profound life inflection sparked a lifelong conviction: to change the narrative for children and families across rural Ghana by removing the structural barriers to quality education, healthcare, and economic dignity.
Bridging the US and West Africa
Armed with academic degrees in Business Marketing from Utah State University and a Master's in Strategic Communication from Westminster College, Stephen relocated back to Ghana in 2009. He dedicated his career to uniting American entrepreneurial leadership and capital with the boundless resourcefulness of African communities.
